Lecturer, Cognitive Psychology
The Psychology Department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in Cognitive Psychology for the academic year 2008-2009. The contract is for one year with possible renewal for one additional year. The Department encourages applications from individuals who will bring diverse cultural and ethnic perspectives or experiences to campus.

Qualifications:
Required: Ph.D in Psychology or related discipline (e.g., Educational Psychology) with expertise in Cognitive Psychology (ABDs will be considered); prior college/university teaching experience; experience/ability to teach lower and upper level undergraduate courses in Cognitive Psychology.

Preferred:
Experience/ability to teach other Psychology courses; demonstrated experience working effectively with students and staff from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses; academic advising and participation in departmental/campus/community service.

Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
