comments
- This book takes work in the cognitive sciences at face value, and considers the philosophical implications. Rather than vice versa: dictating practice in cognitive science on the basis of philosophical speculation.
- Whatever one might think about the ultimate value of this hypothesis", it is certainly true that Fodor's work (and this one in particular) has set the stage for much of the current Cognitive Science.
- This must be on the top 100. It embodies so many widely discussed issues.
